Welcome, momma!

Exclusive Pumping can feel isolating. Maybe you don’t know anyone who has breastfed by exclusive pumping, maybe you didn’t even know it was “a thing,” right? Maybe you’re dealing with a lot of grief, mourning the loss of a nursing relationship you assumed you’d have. Maybe you have family, friends, even your pediatrician telling you that pumping isn’t good enough. I’m here to tell you that it is. Pumping IS breastfeeding, it’s just not nursing. I want you to feel confident knowing that. There are mommas all over the world breastfeeding by exclusive pumping. You are not alone.

And for those mommas who are doing a combination of nursing, pumping, even supplementing… I’m here to support you. If you’re pumping because you’ll be returning to work, pumping because you’re still working to perfect baby’s latch, or simply to get a break out and about and will be separated from baby during a feed… For whatever reason you choose to pump, I want you to feel confident using your breast pump and feeding your baby.

Hi, I’m Melissa G, CLC

I’m a Certified Lactation Counselor who specializes in pumping. I exclusively pumped for my two beautiful children, first due to an early arrival and NICU stay, then eventually by choice. Exclusive pumping worked so well for my family, but I didn’t have enough support. I desire to be who I so badly needed during my pumping journeys: an educator, a motivator, a listening ear, and a friend who’s been there before and knows what it’s like.

All information included on this website is for educational purposes only. Please see your healthcare provider with any medical issues you may be facing. I am certified to offer lactation counseling and I cannot give you any specific advice unless you are my client, so consider booking a session today! For all health concerns for you and baby, please contact your healthcare providers.
